First Friday Art Party feat. Madjo Rice
Our October Art Party features the artwork of our very own Maddie Rice! You may already know Maddie as the super-kind, extremely creative manager of The Gallery, but did you also know she is a wildly talented artist and maker?!
“Unsent Letters” is Maddie’s first solo exhibit, in which she has explored multiple mediums across a variety of art forms. Maddie masterfully brings original paintings, collage, block printing, and more to life on canvas, clothing, printed goods, and functional art in her uniquely colorful and dreamy style.

Read up on origin stories and cast your vote for your favorite cryptid in-store during the month of August. The winning cryptid will become a mascot for the region and The Gallery will work with the winning artist to develop a line of memorabilia featuring the chosen creature.

The mineral pigments he uses are colors that have been underground in ancient volcanic deposits, lying dormant for centuries. Each color has a unique mineral composition, many of which are naturally flecked with Mika, stones and crystals.
