Visiting Artists at
The Gallery

Hello there! You’re here because you’re interested in finding out more about our monthly visiting artist program. Awesome! Let’s talk about it! We have this big square wall right in the front of our space where your work would go. It’s great because it’s the first thing anyone who walks in sees, and the entire wall is clearly visible through our front window and door. You are the star of your month, you talented creative, you!

The wall itself is roughly 12 feet by 12 feet, and we have a variety of small display tables and ladder shelves that you can also use for any of your work that doesn’t hang on a wall.

Some previous wall displays for inspo:

Let’s talk about the wall.

Let’s talk about the fine print.

If you agree to be a visiting artist at The Gallery, here’s what you’ll be on the hook for:

  • Your work will live on our wall for one month (don’t worry we’ll take good care of it!)

  • You’ll help set up your show on or around the first of the month and help take down the show on or around the last of the month

  • You’ll attend our Art Party to kick-off your showing - this is a great opportunity to invite friends and family - this typically occurs on the First Friday of the month you are showing and we provide drinks and snacks and live music

  • You’ll take 70% of the profits and we’ll take 30% - (most galleries take about 50%, and we pride ourselves on keeping this rate low so that you, the artist, get most of the profit)

  • You’ll let us use your name, photograph and images of your work that we deem appropriate to promote your show (basically, we can talk and brag about you and your damn good art, okay?)

  • If you have to bail on us after you’ve signed your contract, you’ll agree to pay a $200 fee. This kinda sucks, we’re sorry, but we have to make sure that only serious applicants apply and that if you have to cancel last minute, we can fill the wall with something else.

Before filling this out, please make sure that you would be able to commit to the above requirements for being a visiting artist at The Gallery.
