Our story

Keith and Joanna Walters and Lauren Page Wadsworth teamed up in the fall of 2020 to conspire about an available storefront on Main Street in Geneseo. Keith had a small art gallery on the back side of Main Street already, but dreamed of moving his work up to the center of town and building community and life around art in Geneseo. Together, we fixed up the space and officially opened as The Gallery in the Valley in November of 2020. The Gallery features the photography of Keith Walters and Lauren Page Wadsworth, along with several other resident artists, and hosts a rotating visiting artist exhibition monthly.
