“My name is Kate Rodgers, but most people know my project by the Instagram handle @geneseocameraroll. Starting in May 2020, my project aimed to provide students and alumni with photographs of Geneseo during the COVID-19 pandemic, and has since grown to represent the livelihood and charm of Geneseo as it persists through the years. My published photography and writing represents my relationship with the places, spaces, and people of Geneseo I encountered during my college years – things that resonated with me, but as evidenced by my project’s support, resonated with thousands of others too. Therefore, this gallery show, as well as the introduction of the Geneseo Camera Roll book, aims to be a “final” display of the college moments that I captured, but that we all experienced and loved.” - Kate
